Founder & CEO
Service-Disabled U.S. Army Veteran | Former Attack Helicopter Pilot
Eric Wimer is the Founder and CEO of VALORtech.AI, advancing AI and technology modernization in support of DoD missions, Federal operations, and veteran healthcare outcomes where reliability and trust matter most.
A Service-Disabled U.S. Army veteran, Eric's leadership style was forged long before boardrooms and startups — flying attack helicopters and leading soldiers in combat environments where trust, clarity, and decisive action were not optional. Those experiences continue to shape how he builds teams, leads organizations, and approaches complex, high-stakes missions.
After his military service, Eric transitioned into the private sector, advising Global 2000 organizations through roles at AT&T Solutions and PwC. He was repeatedly asked to step into challenging situations that required aligning senior stakeholders, navigating ambiguity, and delivering results under pressure. That pattern followed him into entrepreneurship, where he went on to found and scale multiple technology-driven companies at the intersection of innovation and public service.
Among them was Ikimbo, a real-time communications platform that raised $17.7 million in venture funding, and Courage LLC, where Eric led the design, integration, launch, and operations of the DC Health Insurance Exchange. Under his leadership, the exchange became one of only four in the country to meet its ACA mandate while operating with zero unscheduled downtime. Earlier ventures also included Exclusive Integration, delivering advanced automation and technology solutions to both government and commercial clients.
Prior to founding VALORtech.AI, Eric was a co-founder of Tharseo IT, where he helped establish a firm trusted by Federal, DoD, state, and local agencies to modernize mission-critical systems on Oracle Cloud. That work reinforced a simple truth for him: technology only matters if it works, scales, and serves people when it matters most.
Beyond his role at VALORtech.AI, Eric is also a founding Board Member of Sentinel Six, a charitable foundation launched to support veterans, first responders, and their families through scholarships, technical training, emergency assistance, and resilience programs. Sentinel Six reflects a personal calling that extends beyond any one company, rooted in the belief that service does not end when the uniform comes off.
Across every chapter of his career, Eric's throughline has remained consistent: build strong teams, earn trust through action, and use leadership and technology to improve outcomes for those who serve and the communities they protect.
“Combat leadership teaches you quickly what matters and what doesn't—and that perspective still guides how I build teams, lead missions, and serve veterans through our work.”

Community Impact

At VALORtech.AI, we believe service doesn't end when the uniform comes off. That's why Eric Wimer founded Sentinel Six Foundation: a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to honoring and empowering those who have sacrificed for our safety and freedom.
Sentinel Six exists to uplift veterans, first responders, and their families through scholarships, emergency assistance, career training, and resilience programs.
It's more than charity. It's a promise: No hero walks alone.
